The Only Way to Read

  1. It is a really good passage isn't it. I remember being given a copy of "The War Diaries of Weary Dunlop" by my grandfather when I was in my early 20's and for years I could only thumb through it casually. For some reason, I could never get right into it. It has only been just recently that I've been able to sit down with it and really delve into each and every page and now, it is a book that totally grabs me from the beginning.

That's the thing about books. Even when you're aren't ready for them, they will speak to you and you should listen. There will come a right time for you and that book to partner up.

    1. I've always found the same thing, Dean, which is why the quote spoke to me so much that I had to share it. I have also found that books I loved when I was younger are a struggle for me now. I guess my heart is just in a different place to where it was when I was a teenager and Uni bum.

    1. Thanks for stopping by to say hi, Dr Sonia. Thank you also for pointing out the problem with my paper craft blog. It should be all fixed now. I ran a malware test and found a craft site I had a link for is flagged, so I removed it.
I look forward to spending many hours on your blog :)
